As part of the scheme funded by Central Government, Putting the Learner First, A.E. Robb & Associates were commissioned to carry out a survey of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services in 33 Schools throughout Northumberland.
The survey was designed to report on the condition of the installed services, and to provide costs for upgrades and repairs where necessary. We were also asked to provide costs for new services to areas where future extensions to buildings had already been planned.
A.E. Robb & Associates’ survey information enabled the County Council to bring together the total expenditure forecast necessary to carry out the development programme on a prioritised and phased basis.
